The Ghana Police Service has arrested Ebo Noah following a failed prophecy predicting a global flood, which reportedly triggered fear and panic among sections of the public.
According to police sources, the arrest was made on January 1, 2026, after the prophecy circulated widely and led to anxiety, misinformation, and public disturbance. Authorities say the suspect’s actions raised concerns about public safety and order.
The police emphasized that while freedom of belief is respected, the deliberate spread of false information capable of causing panic will not be tolerated. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the impact of the prophecy and whether any laws were breached.
