Maripoma Enterprise Limited, the contractor working on the Ofankor–Nsawam Dual Carriageway Rehabilitation Project, has announced a temporary diversion of traffic on the Nsawam-bound stretch between Achimota Neoplan and Pokuase.
The diversion will be in place from 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, 6 December 2025, until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, 7 December 2025.
In a statement, the contractor explained that the affected section of the road will be closed to allow for asphalt paving works on the Ofankor–White House portion of the project.
During the 12-hour closure, all vehicles heading toward Nsawam will be rerouted onto the service road from Achimota Neoplan through to Pokuase.
The company noted that the measure forms part of efforts to enhance safety and improve traffic flow as construction progresses on the major corridor.
It further urged motorists to pay attention to directional signs and adhere to instructions from traffic management personnel who will be on-site throughout the period.
