The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has added 50 tertiary students to his constituency scholarship initiative as part of efforts to support education and ease the financial burden on students and their families.
The move brings the total number of beneficiaries under the scholarship scheme to a significantly higher figure, reinforcing the MP’s long-standing commitment to education and human capital development in the constituency.
According to information available, the beneficiaries are students enrolled in various public tertiary institutions across the country. The scholarship package is expected to cover key academic expenses, including tuition-related costs, to enable students to focus on their studies without financial strain.
Mr. Ablakwa has consistently prioritised education as a tool for social mobility and development, particularly for students from less-privileged backgrounds in North Tongu.
